The Socnet Inventory Tracking System (ITS) provides means of tracking goods purchased and thereafter supplied for use/ consumption through the logistics department. The multi-user system maintains an audit trail report on all operations performed on it. Modules include Procurement, Disbursement/ Issuing, Contracts, Reports, and so forth.
Human Resource Managment System
The Socnet Human Resource Management and Payroll System (HRMS) enables organizations manage human resource information. It is divided into two parts: Human resource and Payroll. The former keeps record of basic employee information, Job description, Education, Personnel training, among others. The latter is responsible for payment records. It includes employees’ Payroll with their contribution to NSSF and Income Tax (PAYE) among other functionality. One client using the HRMS is the Walter Reed Project at Makerere Univeristy.
hybisc (an SMS application developed together with sister company Image Island) has a number of services that include, among others: querying of information services like news, ringtones, and logos. Clientele information regarding this application can be availed on demand.
Loan Payment System
This system aims at keeping record of loans given out to clients. When an organisation gives out a loan to a customer, this system can help generate a payment schedule depending on the agreed terms, keep track of the payments as they are made and also compute penalties at agreed rates. It stores information about the clients and generates a number of reports as may be required by the user.
This system helps Librarians to easily manage library book records. It stores information about the borrowers and generates a number of reports that are of importance to the users. These include: Defaulters, Number of copies per book, etc. Among other clients using this system is Makerere University Department of Distance Education.
This system helps institutions of learning to manage their students payments using a user-friendly interface. It allows the user to enter payments, generate reports and keep student information as well as information about the courses offered.
