Hybisc is an SMS-info application which includes the following modules, among others: SMS Information Services and SMS Broadcast modules, Competitions, Request Line, Opinion polls, Chatting, Alerts, Auction, Phone Number Lists, Ringtones, and Logos. Some modules of this application are in use by Mobitel Ghana. In addition to services that attract mobile-originated messages (MO), Hybic has a component of bulk messaging that allows the sending of mobile terminated messages (MT) to mobile devices. This service can be installed for small-scale (meeting notifications), medium, and large-scale establishments (like banks). These notifications can also be automated and embedded within other products using a well-defined API exposed as a web service and a user-friendly graphical user interface (GUI) for reporting, such as SMS deliveries.
